Parking:
There are two main parking lots for Buttermilk both of which are beyond parking attendant booths. Get there before 10am to avoid the parking fees or enjoy the park in the off season any time. Parking is also available in the Tim Horton's Plaza and a sidewalk is provided to walk into the park.

Terrain:
Buttermilk Falls is 960' ASL at the upper bridge to Lake Treman, about 920' at King Road and all the way down to 400' at the park entrance. There are a lot of stairs in the beginning of the Gorge Trail at the main falls but as you continue on the grade is more gentle.
Scenery:
Buttermilk Falls is seen in the front of the park and is the largest cascade in the park. The Gorge Trail provides the best scenery following the stream bed as it twists and falls over many smaller falls.
